$SPLICE.Fed by every splice.
The token behind Splice. Half of every curve fee on every spliced coin buys back $SPLICE and burns it, automatically and on-chain.

04 / FAQ
Questions, answered.
Is $SPLICE live?
Yes. The only official contract address is the one at the top of this page. We never DM a contract address.
Where do the buyback funds come from?
Every trade on a spliced coin's bonding curve pays a trading fee. After Meteora's protocol cut, half goes to the coin's creator and half buys $SPLICE on the open market and burns it. Fees earned before launch wait in the pools and go into the first buyback.
Does the team hold $SPLICE?
There was no presale and no reserved supply. Any $SPLICE the team holds was bought from the curve, like everyone else's.
Why was there a 50% fee at launch?
To stop sniper bots. The trading fee started at 50% and fell to 1% within two minutes. Today every trade pays the normal 1%.
Why does $SPLICE have a 2.5% tax?
It funds the team building Splice. It goes to one wallet and stays there. We would rather say that up front than have you find it on-chain.
What about the 2.5% tax on spliced coins?
That one is different. Splice sweeps it from every holder of a child coin and burns it. Anyone can trigger the burn from the coin page.
Can $SPLICE or a spliced coin be rugged?
No live mint, no freeze authority, no permanent delegate, no pause switch. When the curve fills, all liquidity moves to Meteora DAMM v2 and is locked forever.
